Coverworld Single Skin and Built Up System Rooflights

With light transmission levels of up to 90%, Coverworld’s GRP translucent rooflights are ideally suited for use in retail, warehousing, industrial and agricultural projects.

Coverworld can offer configurations of single, double or triple skin site assembled systems in a variety of different fire ratings and weight classifications allowing us to supply GRP rooflights for almost any type of project. Specifying the correct type of rooflight for your project is now becoming more important and where our team will look assist.

Non-Fragile Rooflight Assembles

Changes in recent years regarding non-fragility classifications mean that the correct choice of rooflight should be carefully considered – ideally at the design stage. Rooflights with non-fragility ratings of up to 25 years can be provided that comply with the requirements of ACR[M]001:2005 “Test for Non-Fragility of Roofing Assemblies”.

Rooflight Fire Ratings

The required fire rating grades for rooflights that are specified in “Approved Document B: Fire Safety” of the Building Regulations can all be complied with, for single skin and built up rooflight assemblies.

Rooflight U-Values

The required U-Value for rooflights specified in “Approved Document L: Conservation of Fuel and Power” of the Building Regulations can be complied with for all built up insulated rooflight assemblies.

Factory Assembled Insulated Rooflights (FAIRS)

FAIRS or Factory Assembled Insulated Rooflights are also known as FADS (Factory Assembled Double Skin) of FATS (Factory Assembled Triple Skin) and are used in conjunction with insulated composite panels.

We can supply GRP Factory Assembled Insulated Rooflights to match all current and obsolete insulated composite panel systems.

All non-fragility, fire rating and U-value requirements can be complied with, offering a durable rooflight solution for factories, commercial buildings, sports halls, stadia, agricultural buildings, and many other applications.

Non Coverworld Rooflights

In addition to the wide range of stock rooflights that we keep in house, we can also supply many other profiles – even ones that may now be obsolete.

A large range of different profiles of sheets have been manufactured over the years and many of these profile manufacturers may no longer be in business. When old or damaged rooflights are being replaced, it is important the correct profile is identified.

Coverworld can help in this respect, either by you suppling us with an undistorted sample or by providing us with a drawing that contains all required dimensions of the profile.
