Spacer Support System
We offer a lightweight spacer bar and bracket system that provides a fixed space between the outer weather sheet and internal liner sheet in built up site assembled insulated roof and wall cladding systems.
The void created by the spacer bracket is filled with glass or rock mineral wool insulation, creating a non-combustible system that can be specified for pitched roofs, or walls with vertically or horizontally fixed external weather sheet.

The standard spacer bracket with two point fixing provides a wide range of void depths of between 60mm to 280mm, alternatively a deeper spacer bracket with four point fixing is available that provides an increased void depth of up to 400mm. This large range of void depths enables the use of insulation thickness that can comply with all current and future U-value requirements of Part L of the building regulations.

Manufactured from high yield strength hot-dip galvanised steel, the system comprises of minimum components, is easy to assemble and is installed on to the purlins/sheeting rails with self drilling fixings.
The spacer system is suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects, including the overclad of existing metal and fibre cement/asbestos profiles.
